Hi! I’m Georgia. A born and raised in New York City wedding photographer, I’m used to the chaos, hustle, and fast-paced environment. One month after earning my BA at Purchase College in photojournalism, I packed my life into two suitcases and was on a plane to the London College of Communications. With two years of studying, traveling, and working in Euope, I earned a Masters in Arts and Lifestyle Journalism. Let’s just say: I love love. Using my photojournalism background to document weddings, I make sure to capture every detail and beautiful moment like a story.

Hey, I’m Grace! I’m a destination wedding photographer based in Manhattan. I grew up bouncing between California and Connecticut, but love the East Coast… is there such a thing as “East Coast Best Coast”? I’m passionate about New York, but also about travel - and I’d love to travel for you! Fun fact: I’ve been to 16+ countries and 12+ states in the last 6 years. My travels influence my wedding photography style, bringing a little something extra to your special day. From getting ready to the end of the night, I’m here to capture your having an absolute blast.

Hi there, I’m Regina! I’ve always been passionate about creating stories through wedding videography. From the first wedding film I created, I knew I had to continue to tell stories through filmmaking. Witnessing and capturing one of the most memorable days in a couple’s life is always an incredible experience. I look at every wedding day as a true blessing to film happy memories that will last forever. I’m all about authentic, character-driven filmmaking, influenced by cinematic techniques. Your wedding film should be an elegant, timeless story that will serve as an heirloom.

G here! I’m a trans, documentary style New York wedding photographer. With a BFA in fine art from Rochester Institute of Technology, I work with my camera and film to tell your story. Capturing memories in both digital and film is my passion. I am an avid light chaser, a moody music maker, and a human full of love and passion. I want to capture what is real, casual, and candid. Based in Long Beach, I love capturing weddings and elopements in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and beyond. Most of all: I love to capture you, authentically, as you are.

Founded by Brooklyn wedding photo and video team Megan & Kenneth, our team consists of wedding photographers and videographers who have been working in the wedding industry for years. With a variety of experience in weddings of all kinds, Mutual Friends is a multi-talented team ready to capture your special day. Our creatives are among the most talented in the industry and ensure a comfortable and candid experience from engagement photos to the wedding day.

Wedding Photography and Videography Team in New York

Based around the city, our team of Mutual friends cover the greater New York City area and beyond. If you’re looking for Central Park elopement photos or upstate NY wedding photography, our team is ready to make sure you have the best experience. As photographers in New York, we know this city like the back of our hands. Beyond photography, our team can capture an intimate wedding video of your NYC wedding to last for years to come.

Why Have Both Photo and Video Coverage at Your NYC Wedding?

Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. You want to remember every moment, and you want to be able to share those memories with your friends and family. That’s why having both photo and video coverage is important. A photographer will capture the still moments, while a videographer will capture the motion and sound of your special day. Some things just don’t photograph the same as they are captured in a New York wedding film.

How Often Do the Mutual Friends Work Together?

We often get asked how our Brooklyn wedding photo and video team work together. The answer is simple: a lot! We’re a team of four photographers and two videographers. We’ve been working together on celebrations from two people to two hundred. Our team has helped numerous couples capture their best day ever.

Capturing Candid, Comfortable New York Wedding Photography

When you’re planning your wedding, it’s important to find a photographer who will make you feel comfortable on your big day. You want someone who will capture your relationship candidly and who will make you feel at ease in front of the camera. Luckily, plenty of great NYC wedding photographers on our team can do just that.

When Will You Meet Your Mutual Friends Team?

Once you’ve had your consultation, we’ll let you know who is available from our New York wedding videography and photography team. You’ll be able to approve your selection prior to signing the contract, making it a seamless process. The first time you’ll meet your Brooklyn wedding photographer in person is during your engagement session. This is a great time to get to know each other and get comfortable with being in front of the camera. You’ll meet your NYC wedding videography team on the big day itself unless you book an engagement film with our team.

Does Your Team Help Put Together a Shot List and Timeline?

Our team at Mutual Friends wants to ensure you’re as prepared as possible. You’ll work directly with our studio manager to put together the timeline and shot list of the day. That will help your photographer know exactly what you want to capture and how long to stay on the wedding day. It will also help you feel confident that all the shots you want will be captured.

Where Will We Take Our New York Wedding Photos?

You’ll discuss your preferred locations with your NYC wedding photographer ahead of the wedding. They’ll ensure that you have all the locations you want covered during the photo shoot portion of the big day. Weddings can be tricky, and we want to be sure that your whole team is on the same page when it comes to the schedule.

NYC Wedding Photography and Videography Packages

Our wedding photography and videography packages in New York are designed to fit the needs of a variety of couples. We want to ensure you get the exact coverage you need for your special day. With packages ranging from 6 to 8 hours of coverage, we can give you exactly what you need. We also have elopement photography packages that are perfect for smaller, more intimate weddings.

When to Book Your New York Wedding Photography & Videography

We recommend booking your NYC wedding photo package as soon as possible. Even if you’re having an elopement or micro-wedding, it’s great to get you on the calendar ASAP. Since the wedding season in Manhattan and Brooklyn seems to be all year round, it’s good to get everything booked as soon as possible. That way, you can ensure you’ll have the team you want to capture your wedding photo gallery.
